Welcome to Sri Lanka. Upon arrival at Colombo CMB Airport, you will be warmly greeted by your tour guide and transferred to your hotel in Negombo. (Pickup can also be arranged from hotels in Colombo or Negombo.)

After breakfast, proceed to Anuradhapura, the ancient royal capital and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the sacred ruins of this once-great civilization, including massive stupas, ancient temples, palaces, and historic reservoirs that showcase Sri Lanka’s rich cultural and architectural heritage. A highlight is the sacred Sri Maha Bodhi tree, believed to be one of the oldest historically documented trees in the world, along with the iconic Ruwanwelisaya Stupa.

In the evening, enjoy an exciting jeep safari at Wilpattu National Park, one of Sri Lanka’s oldest and largest protected wildlife reserves. After breakfast, travel towards Sri Lanka’s beautiful eastern coastline and arrive in Trincomalee, a vibrant coastal town known for its cultural diversity and pristine beaches. Visit key attractions such as Koneswaram Temple and Fort Frederick, offering stunning views and rich historical significance. Spend the rest of the day relaxing at Nilaveli Beach, enjoying the calm turquoise waters and soft white sands.

On Day 04, enjoy an early boat ride to Pigeon Island National Park (subject to sea conditions), one of Sri Lanka’s best snorkeling and diving locations. Discover vibrant coral reefs and a wide variety of tropical marine life in this protected marine sanctuary. The rest of the day is free to relax on the beach or enjoy optional water activities.

After breakfast, proceed to Dambulla, located at the heart of Sri Lanka’s Cultural Triangle. On arrival, enjoy an authentic cultural village experience, featuring a traditional bullock cart ride, a peaceful canoe trip across the lake, and a visit to a local farmer’s house where you will experience warm rural hospitality and traditional Sri Lankan village life.

In the evening, visit the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Sri Lanka’s most remarkable ancient landmarks. After breakfast, visit the Golden Buddha Statue and the UNESCO-listed Dambulla Cave Temple, the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. The site features five caves filled with ancient murals, statues, and historical artwork dating back to the first century B.C., along with panoramic views from the rock summit.

Continue to a Matale Spice Garden to discover Sri Lanka’s rich spice heritage and traditional herbal remedies. Later, proceed to Kandy, the last royal capital of Sri Lanka, surrounded by misty mountains, rainforests, and tea plantations.

In the afternoon, visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most important Buddhist temples in the world. After breakfast, visit the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya, the oldest formal garden in Sri Lanka. Home to over 4,000 plant species, the gardens are renowned for their orchid collections, royal palm avenues, and diverse tropical flora from Sri Lanka and around the world.

Later, transfer to the airport for your return flight, or choose to extend your holiday with a relaxing beach stay in Bentota or Negombo.
